The launch of Escape From Planet Nowhere is just days away and I’ve been working feverishly to be ready for the debut!

I decided to redesign a major character in the comic early this week (not the one shown in the above image), which led to many hours of re-painting pages to accommodate the changes. I don’t recommend this approach to design, folks. It’s always better to get things nailed down before you final your pages, but such is life. In the end, I think the changes were for the best, resulting in a stronger design and (hopefully) a better comic. I’ll be talking more about these last minute changes in the first episode of my new Video Journal which debuts on the same day as the webcomic.

I hope that everyone enjoys the comic once it hits the web. I’m excited for people to see the work that I’ve done. This is the first comic I’ve worked on that is completely my own since the first Oddly Normal mini-series back in 2004/2005. It’s been a long time since I’ve done something like this, so I’m nervous and anxious to see how readers react to this new project.

This comic has been a long time in coming and has involved a lot of work. And not just by me. This website would not exist without the valiant efforts of my friend Chris Cole. He tackled the challenge of getting this site up and running so that I could focus on the creative work. Thanks, Chris!

See you on Sunday!
